Throughout the year you will be privileged to
have many eagle sightings. During quiet times of the day, perhaps while
you are sipping your morning coffee, you will see an eagle swooping down
for his breakfast. You may also see rabbits munching away, a small deer or
a fox. If you are really lucky you will see a moose at a distance or
swimming in the lake. Keep in mind that you are located next to 100 acres
of undisturbed nature gifted to the National Geographic Society by the
Bell family.
The Bras d’Or area and the amazing Cabot Trail
are a must see during the fall when mother nature puts on the most
spectacular show of colour in the changing of the leaves. |
